Skycat Trigger Unit V3 Pro (4S/6S)

€97.60

Trigger unit for 4S/6S applications where integrated +5V supply is needed!

Built in 5V power output for receiver.

When a launch signal is received from the aircraft's receiver, trigger conducts power to the launcher from the flight battery or a dedicated parachute battery. Fuse heats rapidly and breaks, releasing the piston after only 0,2 seconds from command.

Trigger is designed to work in the most demanding environments for maximum reliability. PCB is very well protected against vibrations.

Trigger comes with 15 cm cables and soldered XT60 connectors.

Designed to withstand the most demanding environments

The trigger is protected against moisture and touch. All electronics and solders are covered by dipping the unit into liquid rubber. The coating protects against vibration and external elements but keeps the unit very lightweight.

Our tests cover underwater scenarios, +90 °C (194 °F) temperature with 100% relative humidity, as well as -20 °C freezing conditions.

The circuit board reliability is established on multiple factors. Components are soldered through the double-sided gold-plated board with brass bushings. It is very unlikely to have a poor connection between the component and circuit board, even in a vibrating faulty copter.

The highest quality components and manufacturing

The main components regulator and capacitors are from quality manufacturers Texas Instruments and Panasonic. Each Trigger is manually inspected by an electronics engineer and tested by ejecting real armed parachute launcher.

Designed with the highest reliability in mind

The trigger is rated for a single parachute launcher in normal use. However, we have test shot with overstress several times up to 4 x launchers simultaneously and single launcher up to 8S.
