Electrically heated transmitter sleeve to keep your hands and radio warm. A must-have accessory for everyone flying in a cold or windy environment, or for an professional who operates in a cold environment and needs a place to keep their hands and carry-on gear warm.
We use the product from +5 °C / +41 °F to as low as -32 °C / -26 °F to prevent any issues caused by cold fingers. Some test group users have used it to keep their hands warm at the sea while operating a ferry.
The sleeve has three power levels for optimal comfort. The temperature is controlled with a thermostat. The product features an automatic power shut-off to prevent deep discharge. Any 3S LIPO battery with XT60 connector is compatible and can be fitted inside the sleeve with a hook & loop strip.

Compatibility with DJI Cendence radio controller panel antenna is solved with an additional zipper at the front bottom corner, under the Skycat Logo.
The expected duration of a single use depends on the ambient temperature and the available battery capacity. With a 5 Ah battery, we have used it for several hours in around 0 °C, and for about an hour in extreme Winter conditions. The maximum power draw is about 4.5 A. The maximum LIPO battery size is approx L130xW50xH50 mm. The thicker is better (H dimension). Due to airfreight restrictions, we recommend purchasing LIPO locally and we do not include a battery with the product. The LIPO is attached with the supplied hook & loop strip.
The product is compatible with most radio controllers and screens. Mavic standard controllers can be used when the screen is on top of the sleeve. The radio controller with antennas pointing down is not compatible. There is a heater element under the sleeve and antennas can’t go through that.
The top part of the sleeve has a zipper opening for the DJI Crystalsky mount, when the screen is attached to the radio controller. The alternative method is to use as on the image: use the supplied hook & loop strip and let screen rest on the top. This way any screen/tablet can be used with the product. The whole top cover can be customized to meet special requirements or taken off, if the remaining heating capability is sufficient and the added battery consumption is not a problem.
For radio antennas, the sleeve has an area that can be enlarged for a radio controller specific opening with a knife. DJI Inspire 2 standard controller is shown in the image.

The heat is distributed for the whole bottom area.
The harness has large range of adjustments and can be fitted to operators of virtually any size. The harness is equipped with two stripe reflectors.
